LESSONS LEARNED

well happy campers its highway guest blogging one last time. today i wanna just talk about lessons we learn in life, one in particular is how we need to wisely pick and choose our battles. i have a habit of running off at the mouth and not thinking, hence i then end up having to get myself out of trouble. funny this little character defect has gotten to where i have lost jobs, family ,freinds. as i reflect on theses things i also learned that it puts a large strain on my marriage. im fortunate i have an angel for a wife.how she puts up with my childish immature behaivor ,well i will never know .i guess what im getting at is that its best to ,pick your battles wisely and not be so quick to open your mouth . its sad though im 44 years old and finally getting this point.
now i realize what the wise and knowing old timers try to teach me in the past. well campers im gonna mosey on out its time to hit the dusty trail see you all soon

I think highway is a bit hard on himself..... every one of us has had plenty of moments when we should have kept our big mouths shut, but we didn't.

I have a solution... do more kissing, that way your mouth will be too busy to get you in trouble. LOL
XOXO

There is an old saying, and if you are wise you'll take this to heart."Learn from your mistakes or be doomed to repeat them".Yes it good that we recognize our shortcomings, and our faults, but lip service can be used only so many times before it counts for naught.Good intentions must be followed by good deeds. In other words practice what you promise. If you have a propensity to be argumentative, and opinionated the you must also remember that silence is golden. It is always better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, then to open it and remove all doubt. Lost Family and friends may be gained back when they see that you are making an honest effort to improve yourself As an old a dear friend once said to me"Too soon old, and too late smart" Good luck my friend and God Bless
