AH June! .... one of my favorite months of the year! Summer begins, school ends.
Yesterday was the kindergarten graduation at the school where I work. Some of the kids looked so cute... white button down shirts & bright ties, cute dresses with ribbons and bows. On the far end of the spectrum were the "children" who came to graduation in satin gowns wearing eye shadow and lip gloss . PARENTS WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? These kids looked like the popular "Bratz" dolls.
It causes me great concern when 5 year olds are made up to look like little floozies. Is this a growing fashion trend? Or am I just a bit conservative?

I agree Liz For years Mom and I have expressed grave concern about these parents who insist on making their little girls look older than they are.They have learned nothing from poor Jon Benet.That little girl died in vain it would seem.Up here in Glen Cove where Mom teaches religion and I am the Security They run the gambit from being dressed too old to refugees from the hobo jungle All you can do is pray for them

i agree with you TOTALLY.
Let them wear the little mismatched skirt and top with their Dorothy slippers.
It's the only time they can GET AWAY WITH IT!!
